Positive Change

I had this idea for a symbol to represent the concept of positive change. It’s based on the calculus equation Δ/t (Delta over time) which defines the rate of change for some variable. My symbol therefore has three elements:

• Δ (Delta) is the mathematical symbol for change and is the main element in the symbol, the triangle.
• t (time) I have represented with the circle. Maybe it’s a clockface, or from a sundial, or maybe it’s the infinite expanse of time - you can decide what fits for your own interpretation, but hopefully it works as a concept.
• + (positive) signifies that the change is positive. As change is neutral by default, hopefully the addition of a plus sign makes the intent explicit.

I think this one works well as a visual representation of the concept, and I’m not aware of any similar symbol. If you know of one, I’d be interested to hear it. If you find it useful, you’re welcome to use it.
